Location: New York | Ovation Model 5741-9, similar (or same?)to the 1997 Collector's model. Excellent condition, unique looking and sounding Ovation with the OP-24E preamp. It needs a good home because it rarely gets played. I am pretty much an electric player, but I had to buy this because it was such a cool axe! Includes hardshell case. $575.00 |

Perhaps can you post some pics here or in your photo gallery??
Thanks

Location: Scotland | Now that's weird, every 97 collectors I've ever seen has been a 12 fret slot-head, with the touch-sensitive pre-amp, this one has a 14 fret neck, a solid headstock and an Optima. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | It's in the '98 catalog. In '98 they used left over parts to make parlor sized bodies with reguar 14 fret necks and optima electronics. I don't think it was a very popular guitar. |

Location: Scotland | Isn't the parlour guitar in the '98 catalog a multi-hole? This is a centre hole & has a '97 collectors label |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I don't have the calalogs at my fingertips, but I don't recall multisoundhole parlor, other than the Koa Celeb palm tree one. Anyway, I think the little parlor body wiht the long 14 fret neck looks stupid. Like a teen going through puberty. Dave |

Then again, I miss the Viper. :(
OK, Stratford...have pics? |

Location: SoCal | In the 1998 catalog, there's a parlor guitar with a center hole, and a 14 fret neck w/ a solid headstock and conventional electronics. It was a burst coloration and ugly. Never saw it again. There's no reference in any USA catalog I have to a PPG8-X. I don't know what that is. |

I'm still wondering why that 14-fret/optima parlour guitar has a '97 collectors label when the spec was supposed to be 12-fret/slot-head/TS preamp |
