It is blonde figured maple and wrapped in Abalone. I know little of its construction but it plays great and sounds on the lead side - what you'd expect from Maple. Something different at an easy price! But, that bridge just doesn't work for me. Reminds me of the MOB or Tangent or whichever O that was that had the shredder thing going. Still, nice looking geetar.
