Is there a name for this shape of instrument? I like it in a Breadwinner/Lute kind of way. |

Location: Jet City | Niiiice! A turkey leg reference.
When I was younger, I had 2 friends that I'd go with to the renaissance faires.
Me, Mark, and the other Mark.
We'd dress the part, and Mark would play the pan pie, the other Mark and I would swap off on either mandolin (old roundback style) and guitar.
People thought we were part of the act, so of course we'd have the hat passin' around. Paid for turkey legs and ale the whole day long.
It was lots of fun, at least until that ONE clown yells FREEBIRD!
THe Giannini would have fit right in. |

Location: Jet City | BTW, the "other" Mark did quite well for himself with the guitar. Aside from his own projects I think he's still playing for Greg Allman, when Greg tours.
BASTAGE!
Been decades since we've talked though. Good ol' Alameda boy. |

I thought about it, but Amy might object to the nipplage on the headstock, and the last thing I need is her beginning to question my guitar hobby... |

Location: Upper Left USA | Damon - You were part of Toot, Lute and Ute?
It looks like me and the Mrs. will be doing the First aid station at the Scottish Highlands Games this year in Enumclaw, WA.
And you thought all I could fix was guitars!
There will be a lot of post-adolescants running around with sharp objects. |
