Hello members of the Ovation Fan Club,
Will a VIP-5 fit and operate properly in a CKO47?
I already bought the VIP preamp(not realizing the "can" did not come with it)and am trying to find a descent Ovation to put it into.
If they don't match, can the proper "can" be purchased separately?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

My appologies for listing this in the wrong directory. by the time I realized it, it was too late to delete.

The iDea module will work in an OP-Pro can, or it's own can.
You need an iDea can to use the AUX jack.
But if all you have is the module, an OP-Pro can will work just fine.
No, it won't work with an OP-20 can.

You could contact the MotherShip about just getting an OP-Pro can.

Don't know why I was thinking of the iDea while I was typing... But the answer is the same.

The VIP-5 will fit into an OP-Pro can.
It will not fit into an OP-20 can.
