It's not a on/off switch.
This switch is used to change the sound of the pickup.

Iceland has had four names through history. Thule or Ultima Thule, Snæland ("snow land"), Garðarshólmur ("Garðar's little island" named by a humble Swede named... you got it, Garðar), and of course, Iceland, named by the Norwegian Viking Flóki Vilgerðarson. The Landnámabók makes it clear that Flóki chose the uninviting name Ísland ("ice land") for the view of a distant fjord full of sea-ice that he glimpsed from a tall mountain.
Erik the Red (Leif Ericson's father) named Greenland to help entice settlers to join him and move there. This was after he was banished to Iceland from Norway for killing a man, then banished from Iceland for doing it again.

Location: SoCal | When there's a runner on first base, there are 1 or no outs, and the batter hits a pop fly to the infield, the umpire has the option of calling the infield fly rule. This means that the batter is out automatically. It keeps the defense from purposely dropping the fly ball, then making a double play at second and first, since the runner on first really can't run while the ball is in the air and will probably be caught.

That means: The offender is offside if he is closer to the goalline than the ball and the last but one defender.

Location: Tennessee | Small clarification on the infield fly rule ... it applies anytime there is a force play and there are less than two outs. So there can be runners on first, first and second, or the bases loaded. But it doesn't apply if first base is unoccupied. |
