| Would it be feasible to string a 1614 Folklore such as this with nylon strings? If so, would its different bracing (or anything else) disadvatage it when compared with a Country Artist of similar vintage? |

Location: North Texas | Yes, I believe the guitar is suited to nylons. I read somewhere that the folklore is bi-stringual. The guitar looks pretty good, I'm curious what it will bring. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Probably have to get a new nut for the wider nylon strings. You may be able to get a Country Artist for the same price. |

Location: Earth·SolarSystem·LocalInterstellarCloud·Local Bub | The Folklore is NOT made for nylon strings. I would recommend against putting them on.
I was just playing my old folklore 6774 the other day and realized that I miss having it around.... |

| Jeff, If they made Savarez High-tension classical strings with ball-ends it might play ok...

| Thanks for the feedback everyone. Sounds possible but more practical to go straight to the Country Artist. |
