Location: La Quinta, Ca. | Ok, one last Ovation for sale, that'll leave me with three.
I bought this natural top '98 about five years ago as a second to my black one. I was doing music that required a nylon hybrid 5 nights a week then but now it's much less and there's no reason for two. Though they are the same year the necks are a bit different with the natural one being a little thinner. Also, acoustically the natural is a little louder, as is usually the case with black tops. Here's the ad:
1998 OVATION Country Artist 6773 serial # 510284 excellent condition, classic-electric, rounded cutaway, mid-depth bowl, gloss finished solid Sitka spruce top, 5-piece oiled mahogany/maple neck, slotted headstock, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with side dot markers and maple inlay on 12th fret, neck meet body at 14th fret, walnut bridge, factory Ovation OP-X pickup system, engraved chrome tuners with pearloid buttons, wood marquetry rosette, w-b-w-b top purfling, 15-3/4" lower bout, 25.4" (642mm) scale, 1-7/8" nut width, built in the U.S.A., with black Ovation thermoplastic OHSC $650
Make that $600 through this forum with forty clams for shipping in the lower 48. | |
