that's a real bargain for a Collector's 1997 - at least in Europe and if it's in excellent condition. I recently saw a new old stock '97 in a shop and they wanted $1200 for it. You should notice, that there is a narrow and a wide neck version of this guitar.

Also, make sure the ORIGINAL CASE is with the guitar. This is a special case similar to what Martins come in and was specific to the '97 collectors. |

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | Check the other threads for more info. If it is a wide neck in excellent/near mint shape with the original case, $850 would be a good deal. For a narrow neck, maybe $700-750. That of course is in the USA. In Europe, those might be fantastic prices.
Ask them to measure the neck to find out if it is a wide neck and let us know what they tell you. |

Location: France | Yes, Stephen, it's a really enjoy for me. But you know, I want always more.....when it's possible. So, this collectors 97, FD14's "little sister, if it's really a good deal, I want it !!

Wide neck: 1 7/8" = 48 mm
Seems to be the narrow neck version.
