Location: Boise, Idaho | A Country Artist was on ebay and didn't get the minimum bid at $325. Now it's back onhttp://cgi.ebay.com/OVATION-1624-4-COUNTRY-ARTIST-1973-classic-elec-Guitar_W0QQitemZ7384312371QQcategoryZ113480QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Are the cracks in the back so bad that it's not worth $300? |

| Mark, I've watched this one myself. It was originally listed for $350 and got no bids. It was dropped to $325 and likewise drew no interest. It has just been relisted at $299 which, unless it has major structural problems, seems a good price particularly if you can do yourself, any minor restoration that it might need. |

Looks just like mine! (Now that the neck's been reattached...) |

Ovation tells me the nylon necks are not dettachable. How did you get yours off? (or should I not ask). |

You need to find some picks or strings with a Buy it Now and obtain your first few Feedbacks. Look at most single digit Ebayers.
Might I also add that since my Feedback hit "69" this weekend I should probably be buying a round! |

Location: Back in the Valley of the Sun Mesa Az. | Speaking of a neck reset...I have a CS255 (shallow bowl 12 string) that needs a neck reset... how difficult of a job is this (meaning, can I trust it to a local repairshop, or should it go to the mothership? Cost differenced might be great?)? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I missed it. I'm never around when these auctions close. I don't know if I'd have gone much higher, though. Should have just taken it when the minimum bid was $325, but I figured it might sneak by again without any other bidders. |

Boy, the internet speed here sucks... |
