How much are you looking to spend and what kind of condition guitar would you be happy with? |

Location: Avondale, AZ | No luck yet. I would like one to match my viper. It is mint other than a recent chip of the laquer at the back peg. Price will depend on condition. |

| OldLiverJones, I don't mean to taunt -- just want to share my own apparent good fortune. I have also been looking to get a red Preacher, or one of the more attractive UKII's. Lost out on a UKII a few weeks back, when it went for $995 on Ebay (discussed in the 'Creature Delux' thread).
Tonight, during the Superbowl, a BIN popped up for this beauty, for $800. Sure, I'd like to have found one for less, but I fear they'll go for more, based on my recent observations. It was all I could do to read the entire posting and do a quick feedback check on the seller before mashing the button. If everyone else hadn't been watching football, I might not have had that much time.

I'll surely post back later -- hoping it's as advertised and I'm a happy camper. |

| Thanks, Stephen. I had liked the look of the Preacher in your album, but noted that you had sold it. I would have preferred a later one like that, with the all-metal bridge. But, the one I got would have been new as I was graduating high school, so it a nice age marker.
I haven't seen any posts explaining preferences and benefits of the older vs all-metal bridges. Any thoughts? |
