Check it out... Scary Punk Thrasher
I especially loved the "Serious Buyers Only" clause at the end of the listing...like who else would bid on this "one of a kind"!
Let the bidding begin (or NOT!)...

| Oh, I was expecting to see this one...
Just wondering if this tale of special ordering and leveraging the factory and sales people has any credibility.

| That one looks like I feel this morning. I am smart enough and old enough to know exactly how much liquor my body can tollerate. Why am I so, so dumb??? Complete & Total loss of "perfectly productive potential" !
Hey Cliff! There's one to use when we finish "The Who" set at the Jam!
I so hate to see a guitar tormented in such a way.
As for the Adamas headstock. I find this one interesting. I suppose the story could be credible?? who knows... Problem is is it different enough to be worth "TEN TIMES" what was paid?? What kinda nut makes a statement like that without actually backing it up with money??? And what kinda idiot takes a statement like that and uses that as a value guide.????
I like the guitar but not all that much. I like the oddness of it. and the little story but he ain't ever going to sell this unless he gives the bidders a reasonable reserve. I know no one is going to bid if his reserve is $2000.00 Hell buy an Adamas and get over yourself, or just buy a nice Custom Legend they look just fine to me the way they are..

The Custom Legend has been on ebay before. How could I forget that long story? At least I'm not senile enough to have to read the whole thing a second time. I guess I don't have any green ones either. |

Location: Bluffton, SC | I thought the same thing, Dave. I'm always on the lookout for a beater that I'm really not afraid to take anywhere and, if I had a little more confidence in this thing holding a tune and sounding somewhat ok, I'd be all over it. I've seen much worse graffiti-wise. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | As far as holding a tune, I don't think you can beat the Matrix. Urethane and aluminum doesn't move much over the years. I would worry about fretwear, which can't be fixed on these. Mine is loaned out right now, in part, because it's almost indestructable. |

| By the way I was curious what the guy wanted for the Custom Legend with the Adamas neck on it.
Are ya sitting down in a chair with arms on it????
His reserve is $6000.00.. Yep....
Hell; I'll have the Mother ship make me an Adamas 1 doubleneck in my choice of colors for that.
Man is it the people who give bad information, or the people who listen to it that are the problem.
Ohh well who cares this guy will have this guitar for a long long long time. Until he sells it for $1500.00 or so.
