Wouldn't that be called a Clan?

Seesquare, you are right, that bridge does look askew. Fortunately, there is a fellow in this area that will work on Ovations.
I hope it does not go to $85, but who knows? |

I've bought 8 or 9 Ovations in the last year, most of which were from board members or because of advice from board members. The only one I know who is disappointed with this board is my wife. |

In fact, adding Wabbit to just about any band name can only make it better. Gives it that touch of class the other parts of the act might be lacking in. :D |

Mike, maybe this'll jog your video memory:

I rarely "Google". |

Location: Warren,Pa. | What were we talking about???...Oh, yeah...I currently own 3 Ovations, and I got them on ebay.
1) 6778LX NEB for $600;

How could I feel the least bit bad about THAT?

I see Mike musta been priced out of the running and he's currently trying to buy half of Deutschland...
I won the Applause with the broken bridge as my first foray into amateur luthiering. |

Location: New Hampsha | MW - I'm trying to guess your strategy. Take the cherry neck and mate it with the new unfinished body? Buying a bare bowl and remaking a top seems to be a long shot... And the shipping from the EU is fair but eats profits.

Location: Upper Left USA | What I know is that the bowl (not the Tuetonic Legend) is unbound and has double fan bracing. The Legend neck may or may not fit or be the right scale.
I am only playing, no serious concept yet.
But the idea of adapting a body to a custom scale neck and cutting in my own frets seems interesting!
Longneck? Mandocello? Ten string? We'll see!
Which Ovation has double Fan Bracing? |
