Hi, i got an Adamas model 1898, and when using the xlr-output from it (via our mixer) after approx. 1 min. it gets inactive. Running it via the normal input it works (as long as the battery works). Can you pleae tell me what happens with the xlr?
thank you - steini

Maybe a silly question, but are you sending phantom power to it from your mixer? If not, it could be shutting down when the tuner does its auto shutoff.

Hmm, the mixer ensured that phantom power is turned off...but i can reassure. do you think this could be the reason?

Oh, you mean it MUST have phantom power? Ok, this maybe the reason. I'll check, thx a lot - steini

Yes. To use the XLR output requires that the preamp have phantom power from the mixer or amplifier. So you need to turn it on at your mixer.
