steini Posted 2011-06-18 7:17 AM (#1346) Subject: Adamas 12 String Model # 1898 - xlr problems Joined: June 2011 Posts: 7 Location: germany Hi, i got an Adamas model 1898, and when using the xlr-output from it (via our mixer) after approx. 1 min. it gets inactive. Running it via the normal input it works (as long as the battery works). To use the XLR output requires that the preamp have phantom power from the mixer or amplifier. So you need to turn it on at your mixer.
