Hi. I'm new here but I just got a Deacon off e-bay.co.uk and, as usual, it's in the wrong case. The guitar is well "lived in" but I truly love it. I already have a Viper but that too is without the original case. So anyone got any ideas? Trouble is, I live in Cornwall in the U.K., and there is nothing in the way of Ovation information anywhere near me! Please help if you can.....p.s. My original Ovation is a Balladeer (1/1111) in the original case and I've had it 30 odd years now and she's still a beauty.....wouldn't have had a career without her!!!

So your problem is where to get some solidbody hard shell cases? Good luck here. Watch ebay sometimes they appear there. However, they are more common in America than anywhere else.

A Viper case would be lovely but America is a long way to ship from however if you were prepared to work out a way of gettin' it here I'd be over the moon! And, of course, if it wasn't going to cost me as much as the guitar itself!!! Let me know then and thankyou very much.

Sorry alpep I wasn't trying to be flippant. What I wondered was how much the postage would be. Anyway thanks for your good thoughts and I'll keep hunting.

thanks Mr. Lovehandles.... I used to play for a lot of people in the music game but now I live in the country and "do it myself"! Check out Legends of Harmonica at your local walmart....that'll make you laugh and no they didn't ask and I got nothing as usual...not even a bunch of flowers!! So 4 "personal" c.d.s later and I'm a much happier man.....love music, screw the idiots that run the business side...all the best, mitt..
