Well I finally have decided to sell my friend. This is an original Custom Legend, no electronics. Original case everything including inlays. Sounds great. I need more fret board room and have gone to a Takemine. Lookking for someone who will give my friend a good home. Great shape, no scratches or dings. Pics are available to those interested. Ser# 069549 with original case.

bumpty, bumpty, not a bump

I have seen Tom's pictures...told him he should keep it and that he couldn't find a new guitar for less than $2,000 to match it.

No electronics but some of us like that...heck a certain individual in Phoenix has been known to take out the pre-amps in some of his guitars.

Aged AAA spruce, A brace, deep bowl, the CL neck, ebony fretboard, carved walnut bridge & truss rod cover, etc., etc.

My suggestion is that he state his minimum, take offers for 2-3 days, then eBay.

And, the Adoption Agency is interested...

Thanks Tony for all the help you have given me in making a difficult decision. You really know the Ovation guitar and I'd recommend that anyone with questions or interests in the Ovation, drop you a line. Thanks again

Good question Stephent28,
Probably walk across the street to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum and borrow one of their glass display cases, that is not currently under water. Seriously though, Tony has given me some things I need to think about, so for now undecided, and on hold.
