WTB: Trekker or Baby Martin/Taylor

My Niece wants to start her son playing guitar. He is 6. They are asking me for advice on what to get. They have been looking at the short scale no-name guitars at Walmart. I think they should get a Trekker or baby M/T (preferrably the Trekker for ruggedness). Does anybody have one? Price (preferrably around the $100 mark). Small, not heavy, a good fit for small hands. When he was a little bigger, his folks got him a 3/4-size guitar, and then finally a full-size classical. it's just a thought.... Karen ------- "C.L.
