Location: Spokane, WA | OUCH!!! Man, this is going to hurt. Due to some personal financial needs, I need to put my 1674 Country Artist Cutaway up for sale. I purchased it in February from Sergio Lara. The posts were from about 2/6 if I remember correctly. It is in near mint condition, except for a small varnish crack right above the fretboard, above the soundhole. It is hardly noticable, and doesn't affect it's playability at all.
This guitar is just like a 1624 Country Artist except with a cutaway. I emailed Ovation to see how many of these were made. They said they didn't keep exact records, but their quote was "not many."
1984 Country Artist model 1674
nylon string cutaway
natural finish
Ebony fretboard
1 7/8 neck width
acoustic electric
concentric volume and tone knobs
original Ovation hardshell case. Made in the U.S.A.
Anyway, this is the exact same guitar that is pictured on February on the OFC calender.
I had paid Sergio 750.00 shipping included, and that is the same deal I am offering.
I'd really like to keep it in the OFC family. I wish I didn't have to let it go, but..........
P.S. I'll try to post a pic shortly, I'm having a little trouble with it right now. |

Location: Orlando, FL | Hey everybody! These are GREAT guitars. I bought one from Serge last November and I love it.
For those of you with an OFC Calendar, check out February, I believe the CA that Davek1076 is selling is the one on the right. If that's not the one that's what it looks like. Serge sold 3 of them in the last year.
Somebody buy this. $750 is a good deal! |
