| This brings up a question..the 1718 is a deep bowl Elite, the 1768 is a cutaway deep bowl Elite, what model number is the cutaway 'mid-bowl' Elite? Or was there any such model?.. |

| Thanks gh1, Now I remember that model, my mind just went blank earlier...I would like to hear a natural finish 1778 from the first year of production and compare it with my 1767...that might be interesting.. |

I hate it when they don't show a close up of just the body. Can't see the cracks, dings, etc.
Oh, and I don't care for the tobacco burst... |

If you are even thinking about a 1718 and have the stomach for the tobacco burst, go for it - you'll never look back. |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | I have played Robbie's 1718; it is a wonderful guitar, both for sound and playability. The only reason I wouldn't bid on the one that's out there is I have the 1111-4 and don't need another deep bowl. If this one plays anything like his does, you won't be disappointed.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Hey, if I got it for the $400, I am pretty sure I could turn it around and make an easy 100 off it locally. On the other hand, I've corresponded with the seller who says he REALLY doesn't want to sell it, but his wife is pressuring him about his GUITAR STUFF being all over the house. If he doesn't sell it on Ebay, he may just have to keep it. (sounds like that may be his actual desire anyway) He is also going to send me some closeups of the top and fretboard, which he says are not cracked or worn.(respectively)
