| Hi, all - I'm a new member, here, and would like to offer my Ruby top Adamas SMT. This one is VERY nice.
Ovation Adamas SMT - Ruby top
Ruby Graphite top, Mid-Depth Cutaway, with Unidirectional Carbon Fiber. Hand-rubbed urethane oil finished neck with ebony fret board. Ebony - pinless bridge. Multi-piece Exotic Hardwood Rosette.
Gold Ovation tuners. Ovation Case.
Optima preamp. Lo-Z balanced XLR output in addition to the 1/4" Hi-Z output. On-board digital chromatic tuner for open or non- standard tunings. Retail Price: $2,199.00
my price: $900
Anyone familiar with this guitar model knows this is a good price for one of the best Ovations made! This is Steve Lukather's guitar of choice, according to the website.
I'm the original owner, and believe me - this is MUCH less than I paid for it. It will be shipped in the original HS case.
Additional photos may be found here Ovation Adamas SMT - Photobucket

Thanks for asking,

Randy Yes, you can ask (and did :D ). I'm living in Visalia, California, in the central portion of the state.
Thanks - yes, she is a nice guitar, and she's been one of my main instruments, so I hate to sell her, but I've got my eye on another guitar, and can't justify keeping both, at this point.....they might just get jealous
Thanks for looking, and if you know anyone who might be interested, I think this is a great deal. Most of the "spots" you see are just dust - a prospective buyer wanted some outside shots, so I just took it outside and shot a few, without polishing it up first - if I get around to it, I'll probably polish it up, and post some better shots. She looks and sounds ver-r-ry good.
The XLR jack is great for going direct to the house, when playing live, and can be fed back phantom power, to run the preamp - a wonderful feature. This guitar sounds great plugged in, or just acoustic. Many friends who aren't really into Ovations have been blown away by how good this guitar sounds (and looks....)
Thanks for checking it out.

It's still a good deal, even if I ship it to one of you - someone give her a good home. As you can see, she's been lovingly cared for.
Spread the word - ready to ship, after confirmation of payment :) - someone's gonna take home a steal of deal, might as well be you.
Thanks, Steve |

My "For Sale" ad has gotten waylaid, somewhat, but just to clarify: I don't know if the Melissa Etheridge 12-string sale is for real or not - I suspect it is; my guitar is NOT related, in any way, to the ME guitar. My guitar is still available, for $900, plus shipping and PayPal.

Don't be sorry.... it actually gets this thing back in front, without me bumping it :D
I was just afraid someone might confuse these as being the "same" guitar, which they're not. (too bad for me ....could've added another $60,200 to the price :p )
From what I could gather from the bidders on the ME 12-string, it looks like a fund-raiser for a charity, and maybe someone's bidding high, just as a charitable gesture. I would even venture to say you would not get another $60,000 in value in that one, over mine, either
No problem with the references to Melissa's guitar - got me back up to the front of the list, got her some advertising, probably for a charitable cause, which is a good thing, and made mine look like a REAL GOOD DEAL! :D
Thanks for looking, and the good luck wishes.
