I understand that all new Ovations ship with 3 shims of the same dimension. My question is does anyone here know of a good source for shims of varying thicknesses? I am new to the world of Ovation and am curious about this. Thanks very much.

Try this for STARTERS . Then use the 'search' for more info.

Try customer service at the factory. I bet they'll mail you several for free, even to Okinawa.

Once Again...

How many other companies offer service like that?

John and Kim have sent me free stuff for guitars that I bought used! :D
(and complimented me on the guitars, once they saw the pics Here!)

[But their plan musta worked, cuz I finally bought two New O's]
