It's a panel-master, but it's a VERY NICE panel-master.

I actually like to have a laminate handy when the weather turns uncommonly foul. It seems to me they might be even more sturdy than the usual Ovation trucks.

I sold mine and hope to replace it at the first opportunity. They're pretty punchy acoustically and fabulous plugged in. It's still the most comfortable neck I've ever played. And without doubt, it is one of the best looking guitars, of any make, I've ever clapped eyes on!

FWIW, I sold mine for more than the one in that Craig's List ad, but patience might get you one more cheaply on eBay.
