Location: Wooster, Ohio | Just made a new purchase this weekend. I think there are too many guitars in the stable. I am working to get some photographs but if there is any interest let me know:
1. 1993 Collectors. Excellent sounding guitar in excellent shape
2. 1997 Collectors Parlor. Narrow neck in excellent condition.
3. Gibson Centenial edition of a 1939 J-100 with a stairstep peghead. Only 100 made. Almost mint.
4. Japanese market celebrity doubleneck with a curly maple top - tobacco stain. rarely seen. I have two OFC members looking at this one but would take anyone as further backup. Will not pit you against each other, I will just go down the list.
Thanks

| I plan to buy Steve's Doubleneck... Have most of the cash right now.....Is anyone interested in an 30th Anniversary Model Custom Legend that has gone from Al to another member and then to me? It has a small crack in the finish. looks like a case hit it and made an small indentation on the body near the neck on the top. Otherwise a perfectly mint clean and fantastic bear claw top. $900.00 |

Location: Wooster, Ohio | Northcountry: You are furthering my GAS attack. I saw the 30th Anniversary Model at Sam Ashes about 2 year ago and thought it was about the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. I'm thinking about this one but I think the idea of the post was to reduce my collection.

Location: Boise, Idaho | Randy, email me some pics. I just missed one on ebay and then I think I got a sham second chance offer. I'm looking for a 30th Anniversary for our 30th next year, but if I can save some money on yours, I'll save the corresponding amount when my wife gets her rings redone next year. |

Location: SoCal | Mark, if you do - might want to consider having it sent direct to the factory...only cost you the shipping from the factory to you (believe it is now $30). Course, I haven't seen the pics but Customer Service does wonders for pennies on the dollar. |

| Will do guy's I love the sound of this guitar and it is a real looker even with the ding in it. I play the two Adamas's on stage now and the other Custom legend cutaway as my alternate tuned guitar for some Led Zeppelin. I do not use the 30th as much as I would like.
I would be interested in a possible trade toward the double neck Steve?? I have had my head turned by an Adamas 2 for sale in here as well....Making an offer on this as well....This is one guitar hungry bunch we have here. GAS is rampant this month! We are close in price already on the double neck but if your interested I'd give you a good deal on it plus some cash.
Or... if someone has cash for me on this and is a member, I will include the shipping and a new pack of nanoweb stings for the 900.00 Photo's sent... |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Thanks. I'll take the 30th, Randy. I'll email you the details. I'm thinking about Tony's idea of sending it to the factory and having them fix the ding. Then it would be like new for our 30th. Although Tony has a few of them in perfect condition, I have to decide if I'm that fussy.
I need to try some crack repair on the 87 Collector's and the Custom Balladeer, but I seem to be happy with the cracks in them, or at least happy enough to put off trying to get them fixed. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Who's counting? I'll have to start doing like some of you guys and just forget the "tag line" because I have too many. In a few years I could just do a link to my gallery. I changed it to go horizontally awhile ago so it wouldn't look too pretentious, but if it goes to 4 lines, I may have to think of something else. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | By the way, I still have a wife, too. She's buying this one. I think she's getting into this game of "gift exchange".
I'm going to have to do some rearranging. I'm running out of wall space. I'm thinking about putting the 3 12 fretters together and putting up a couple more hangers on one of the other walls. It would be nice to have higher ceilings or get some of those Hercules hangers so I could hang them closer together. |

Location: Wooster, Ohio | Mark, For me I never worry about "small" imperfections. Guitars are to be played and the small stuff can happen. My 87 collectors has one ding on the soundboard, and to me when collecting second hand guitars that is ok. That keeps me making that first little mark on perfection and kicking myself for a week. Life is too short play em.

| Steve; While your on the subject of guitars and emails....I am worried that my emails are not reaching you. I have not recieved a response since earlier this week??? I find that sometimes my messages end up automatically going straight into the deleted box where they are not found until much later.
We can discuss the guitar sale later I just want to be sure you are getting my emails. I am sure you understand.
Thanks Randy |

| Got it today. Thought we already knew what we were doing. We have talked a few times since our first contact. And I have now found a guitar box to send this in. So I guess we are all good...
I was worried about Steve because we had not talked for 6 days and we have a deal kinda hanging with no direction yet and my emails were not going through.
I recieved an email a few minutes ago from Steve, so I guess all is well on both fronts and I am moving forward on the celebrity double neck.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I always say I'm not in any hurry, but once I start thinking about the next guitar, I get a little anxious. I can usually go a couple hours without checking the tracking history. I'm not obsessive, am I? Thanks Randy. |

| Every single one of us does the same thing Mark. If they say they don't, their a lion. I am as bad or worse than you my friend.
It will go out mid week in a nice "GIBSON" box.....sorry......all they had.
No worries. You will have a tracking number you can use as your home page very soon.

Location: Boise, Idaho | Randy, I just found out that there was an email message from you that my wife put in the trash. I suppose I should have looked there first before I started wondering why you hadn't responded. I'm looking forward to the guitar, even if it comes in a Gibson box. I have a few extra boxes I probably should get rid of. My wife might be hoping I'll use them to sell off a couple guitars. |
