In the near future as my playing improves I'd like to get a nylon string crossover guitar for jazz playing. There are many guitars to choose from but I'm curious what models some of you play and if anyone owns the Adamas 1769ADII Dimeola model, if so what they thought of it.

User's perspective: I love the round tone of my 1769 ADII but was not crazy about the OP PRO. John Budny at the MotherShip kindly forwarded the OP STUDIO preamp as a retrofit. It offers an AWSEOME ugrade of the plugged-in sound. Unfortunately my guitar has some wiring problems (buzzing, battery light stays on etc.) So it may be back to the factory for a while. Bottom line: the 1769 AD II has some sterling qualities.
Gotta say, tho: my stalwart favorite is the acoustic 1117 Legend (1974) fitted with a Fishman ProFix pickup-preamp system. NICE. I guess I bonded with the "My Goal's Beyond Sound" around 1970 and have never changed.....

My error Slipkid and cholloway are correct. The DiMeola is listed in the Ovation Catalog as the CUSTOM LEGEND Model 1769-ADII and it has a round soundhole.
