That is a nice guitar. Someone should grab it.

Location: Phoenix AZ | Just my opinion... every guitar has a potential buyer at whatever the price. Sometimes it's easier to match available guitar to the right buyer. Sometimes it takes awhile. I'm sure someone (not me) will be intereted in this deep elite 12 for a grand. I'm also sure someone (not me) will be intereted in your shallowbowl. But they are probably not the same person. Be patient my friend. Dave |

Location: East Tennessee | I would agree that Mitzdawg has a great deal on his 1858 and anyone interested in a really good deal on a 12 string should consider this guitar.
I have three 12 strings already and if I didn't I would consider this one.
Probably people are reluctant on buying a shallow bowl. Plugged in this guitar would hold it's own, not sure how a 12 string shallow bowl would sound unplugged.
This would make a great guitar to take on gigs. |

| If a buyer does their research they might learn the 1758 deep bowl 12-string is no longer made, and so finding one in excellent condition might increase it's value. Most of the 1758's I've seen are sunburst, so maybe this particualr seller considers a natural finish even more valuable. Whatever the case, there is no other acoustic 12-string I've ever played that can compete with it as far as 'value for sound' is concerned. |

The official Christmas rush starts November 25th... |

Ditto - AMAZING instrument for the bux, although the $ I spent for mine was a lot less than the get-in on this one ... :D |

Location: Tennessee | Like Dave says, just hang in there. Someone will come along that wants your guitar and knows what it is worth. It just may take a long time. Our main problem is that while we here know the "value" of the guitar, the market does not equate that to dollars. Most of us here are accused of (and guilty of) bottom feeding, but in reality, we're just getting the guitars for the market price. They are a great value, but in reality not worth any more to the market than we paid for them. Those of us here that buy can rarely sell them for a profit, because the market won't bear the price. Sad but true. Do not buy Ovations as investments. What you get is a great guitar for a small amount of money, relatively speaking.
I tried to give it away and found no takers! Maybe someone will steal it.... True story ... a friend of mine had a older console TV in great condition. He put a sign on it saying "Works! Free to a good home". Everyday for two weeks he rolled it out to his driveway. Nothing. Nada. Finally, he made up a sign saying "For Sale -- $100" and rolled the TV out to the driveway. When he went back outside an hour later, it was long gone. |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Kinda off-topic... I saw a homeless chick trying to give away a Puppy, No one would take it. I told her to sell it to 50 cents. Everyone will think you are a jerk, but... Some-one bought it. |
