Congratulations Jim!!! Waytago! I was one of the watchers on that UTE and wishing I was able to jump in on the bidding. I am happy to see it in "the family" too.

No gazumping OFC brothers unless intent declared is my rule!!! Awesome steal if it is of the quality it looks.

Once again, thanks goes to Andrew who graciously bowed out of this auction to let me bid on it. I appreciate the honor of the members here, not cutting each others throat. What a great bunch of guys!! (you all can take a bow now...)
I hope it gets here before I go on vacation to Gods country (Tenn.) and visit with Gospel Guitar Guy. I'm sure he will enjoy playing this one also. If I can find internet access through my air card there, I will give a full report.

Ah but then again Andrew, you have the beautiful Koa "singing-ringing machine" to console yourself with.

Jim, just rufflin' feathers.(grin) After last week (-30C) I'm only exposing my jealousy for your year round bikini weather! Had a little Capt. Morgan last night, just to help me forget! (smile)

Again, congrats on the steal!

Thanks Dave, had a little Capt. last night myself after the hockey game. (ECHL semi pro) We even have our own hockey team. The Florida Everblades. They play at an indoor stadium about 3 miles from my house. It's not the caliber of the NHL, but it's close. :D

Thanks Tim. I have loved the 12 fretters since I had my original 1114, and continued with the 1614. Can't wait for this one to hit the front porch! I only hope it gets here before I go on vacation, so I can take it with me.

Well, with all I have and have had, I still haven't owned a 12-fretter yet. And, darn it anyway, I'm too attached to the slim collection to trade out now. Just have to wait for the opportune moments to add to...

I just noticed on the Adamas website, the nutwidth on this one is 1 3/4". Never heard of that one, just in between the "standard" 1 11/16 and 1 7/8 like my 1614. I'm going to like this one.
