Some of you might remember me from last year (I was looking for info on my Limited 12) Anywho, I'm strapped for cash and have resorted to craigslist to sell my baby. I wanted to post the link here, so all you Ovation nuts can check it out as well. Limited 12
Have a great day!

| Well worth the price. Has to be on the top-10 list of collectible 12-string electrics... |

Location: SoCal | It's a great guitar and in an ideal world, worth every penny of $2500. But I've never seen an Ovation 12 string go for more than $1600, and they usually sell for about $600-$1400 depending upon the market at the time..... |

Based on the last Ltd's, Bwinners, and the almost minty Deacon that just sold on the bay for under $800, the market appears to be growing soft on the Ovation SB's once again. |

Location: CT | Thanks for all the great compliments on the Limited 12.I've recieved quite a few e-mails already..woohoo! As far as the pricing went, the reason I priced it the way I did was:
1)I had recieved that offer last year, but was still debating on selling it.
2)I have never (And still haven't other than the 1 have..lol) EVER seen another Limited 12.
3)It's in PHENOMENAL Condition, and I've only played it a handful of times since I bought it 15/16 years ago.
and
4)and finally (LOL) If I'm gonna get rid of it, that's the price that'll somewhat ease some of my finacial woes at the moment.
If she doesn't go, I'll definitely find other means to get by and HONESTLY won't be too disappointed that I have to keep her.
Thanks for all the info guys!
This is an awesome website!

Location: enid, ok | I just checked out the pics. Gorgeous! Do you still have it? Don't you have any crappy brand-name guitars that everyone wants for reasons known only to themselves to sell instead? No way I'd part with that. I'd get a job flipping burgers first. Or shoveling manure. I've done more than my share of both, literally, and I'd do it again before I'd part with my LTD. You take payments? :) |

| I know of someone else here that has a limited 12... not me... but he says he's gonna get around to putting it back together... one of these days... ;) right now I don't think he can even see it with all his other EBBF projects currently in progress...

| Big Ed,
Seems like you could get your price from Roy Clark or Glen Campbell.. :)
(unless they already own one..) |

Location: CT | Hehheh. Thanks for all the replies guys, and I do STILL have it. I've had 3 serious inquiries, (1 guy from my homestate of CT who collects the 6 String versions, I told him about this site, but I'm not sure if he signed up here) I'm curious to see the guy on here who has the one that needs to be put back together, just because, like I've said before, I've never seen another like it. As far as other guitars, I've parted with most of the cruddy ones and 1 REALLY nice Hamer Diablo (That 1 killed me).
Well, with the holidays being over it should make it easier to hold on to (For the moment at least LOL).
I hope everyone is having a great new year!!
Rock On' Gents!
And Thanks again! |
