I agree, GGG. I passed on one to buy the Deacon. And the switch replacement is a pretty major flaw. It's not like you can get a replacement blue PG to get it back to original. At least I don't think so.

pickguards.com lists a replacemetn pickguard for the Ovation Breadwinner. Looks like the only blue colors in their standard list are blue mirror, blue pearl and blue flower, though. :( I wonder if they'd be able to find a multi-ply (assuming that's what the original is) blue to match the original.

I'm more concerned that it may not have the pre-amp as that would be an interesting mod to say the least the way that switch is in there. In fact... I think I'll ask..
