here's what looks to be a really nice Deluxe model, was extremely surprised that it didn't sell last week, if the electronics/preamp are original and in good working order this is an awesome sound machine.. and well-worth the BIN in my opinion.

now re-listed..
mahogany pd

if it makes it to Friday without anyone pulling the trigger this time. I'm gonna have to move my pillow and blanket to the doghouse.. after my mouse-finger loses all self control.

This sounds like a start to a joke. There are a couple of preachers on the bay. The first one says to the second ...

just received a response from the seller, and the electronics are original and in good working order and no corrosion or battery blow-outs inside.

my budget for 2006 is tapped, w/2 DIY solid-bodies on the way, finalizing other commitments, and sending one up for RA/restoration and receiving parts from the mothership , if I bought another one right now........... well ya know.

The PDs are very nice and versatile, sound wonderful, and are in my opinion undervalued,

but they do weigh a ton and if you have to repair/restore the preamp or other electrical components it can get interesting to find replacements.. tho the group here was great in fixing Da Old Black Preacher that now resides in WA...

There's (almost) always another one...

someone will be happy with it.

On the deluxe auction, some of those big pix are nice enough to use as wallpaper. I know you've probably done this, but if you go to flickr.com and search ovation guitar, you can come up with some really interesting O photography.
