This is a great guitar in the rare sunburst version.
So rare I have never even seen Glen playing a sunburst 1627!
Many people interested but still available.
This one won't last so someone should jump on it soon. |

Location: Fayetteville, NC | I'd buy it if I could afford it, Still trying to play Catch up from being out of Work for so long and Christmas time expenses didn't help the cause. The Glen Campbell models were always some of my personal favorites.I've always told myself that i'd own a gc6 and a gc 12 again one day.The sunburst on this model is really stunning. |

Location: Texas | To quote Dave on his post about his Elite but applied to this 1627 Glen Campbell model:
"So here's the deal. There have been some bargain 1627 Glen Campbell and fixer uppers lately on ebay. My guitar is NOT one of them. If you're looking for a project, look elsewhere. If you want a pristine museum piece of Ovation's history in perfect working condition and 9.99 cosmetic condition with the original brown hard shell case then drop me a line. $900 delivered to your door in the USA."
Wow, that was pretty good!
And I should add, half off the price of the new reissue 1627 Glen Campbell model that is not available in Sunburst. |

Location: Fayetteville, NC | I wish i could, If i had the cash I'd jump on it in a heartbeat. Trying to play Catch-up after being out of work for so long, combined with Christmas Time..Really sucks up the cash flow, which..if you'll pardon the pun,REALLY SUCKS!
Folks need to realize that Serge really Takes excellent care of his instruments. and this GC model is just one example of how he babies each guitar he owns. |

What are you talking about man, it will be the greatest Ovation in the island.
As long as you take care of it, it will last forever.
Just gorgeous!

Location: big island | Just to be fair to Serge and anyone else interested in his guitar, although I have made a commitment to him to purchase it, I am unable to come up with any funds until early next week, probably January 9th. As per our agreement, the guitar is still available until then. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Money always seems to be a little tight right after Christmas. It may not be better at other times of the year. I'd much rather have spent the money on Serge's guitar than on fixing the brakes and altenator on my daughter's car, but I've got plenty of guitars and she only has one car. If I would have banked all the money she saved us by going to a State college and getting a full scholarship, I could buy any guitar I wanted.
Get this one and enjoy it Lanaki. |
