Got a couple of really nice/highly regarded budget LDC microphones that would be perfect for some of you putting together that HOME STUDIO for the next OFC CD! Both are in excellent/mint shape with low miles. Both sound and look exceptional for the price. Both come with original packaging and shockmounts.

Either microphone for $165 shipped or both for $300.

RODE NT1-A

STUDIO PROJECTS C1

CLIFF....either/both of these would be most excellent in your new studio...and you know how easy I am to work with! ;)

Cliff, you know my EPP. If you would like them, I will send them your way and you can pay me over time when you can scratch out a bit here and there.

Hell, the extra goodies I would probably send along are sometimes worth more than the product! :D

Sorry but I'm not familiar with these. Are these generally used to record voice or guitar?

Their GREAT mics that'll work well in either application, Jim.

If it weren't for the fact that I don't really "NEED" another mic, I'd grab it myself . . .

Correct. The Rode NT1-A is considered one of the top budget LDC microphones for the money. They work great on both voice and guitar.

The only reason I am selling these 2 mics (or the one that is left) is because I seriously upgraded the mics that I use in my home studio.

So Stephen:
Let me ask you another question. What else would I need in addition to this fine mic to record a song onto a CD? Seems like today, there would be a relatively inexpensive digital recorder that would do the trick. I really don't want to remodel my house to create a Studio per se, but would like to be able to record something when the time was right.

Stephen, Or anyone who may know; Is there anyone who makes a good quality wireless headset that has an in ear monitor built into it.

I never liked the headsets I still like the look and all round familiarity of a Mic on a boom stand. This is working fine for the Acoustic stuff so far but I am having a real bugger of a time playing the bass and hitting my mark on the microphone.
The Mic keeps me tied to one spot and I like to move when I get into the bass a little, I also need to look at the bass on the complicated stuff and if I am singing it is real hard to keep the mic at a good comfotable height but where I can see the frets as well.
I figure a wireless headset will free me up. And I have tried a set of cheap ear buttons and I like them. So I am wondering why I can't seem to find a set that has both?? How hard can it be to make them like this??

Someone please let me know who makes these, they must exist? Thanks

Randy

Jim, any of the small digital recorders would be terrific with this mic "AS LONG AS" the recorder has 48v phantom power on board. Having this feature is pretty common but essential so make sure it is available.

Randy, I know they make them because you see drummers that sing wearing them all the time. Did you do a search on MF or Sweetwater, etc?

Jim,

Here a couple of typical digital recorders that would work nicely. They have built in effects, drum machines, built in HD's and the ability to burn to CD.

Heh heh heh.....Justin wouldn't let me have a mic because it interferred with his on-stage lip syncing.

He also picked out my costumes but I was forced to leave the tour when he wanted me to wear them after the show in his room.

I did teach him some nifty dance moves tho.....

Nice, Thanks these are nice and small too. What I am specifically looking for is one unit that has built in ear monitor to go along with this. ? These are very hard to find. I just thought that perhaps you studio guy's may have a line on a set up like this. I will most likely go with a headset like one of these and buy a seperate ear monitor system. Thanks guy's

Us "studio" guys have no need for a wireless setup because we never get off our asses to go out and play in public.

It is tough enough to swivel in my chair to change the controls on my DAW! ;)
