Location: south east Michigan | I gave that tenor some serious thought.
But I think I'll pass.
I like to keep all my Ovations out where I can see them. The finish cracks would creep me out. And I am also concerned that finish cracks might turn out to be contagious. (that can't be spelled right)
I'll wait for a "looker" to come along. |

Location: Upper Left USA | I was a backstage assistant at the 2005 Gig Harbor folk festival. There I saw the guitar that Pat Donahue was playing. Every square inch of the top had a finish crack in it.
It was pure working art! |

Location: Fayetteville, NC | I really like that palm tree uke. Again it's just the issue of not having the Cash-flow to bid.The Palm tree style sound portsa re so neat along with teh koa type-the look alone would actually encourage me to pick it up and begin learning to play Uke.You of course don't see these a lot. Tony, do you still have one? |

Location: SoCal | Nope...has always been my wife's.
The one I adopted, if I remember, had been Dave's, Dave sold to an OFC'er, I adopted, I added the case that we got with my wife's and sold the uke & case to T28. She likes it so much, we had to get the big sister of the uke...CP744-4K (Koa/palmtree/parlor, one of 40).
T28 - do you still have it or did it move to a warmer climate?
