That probably is a "professional" job when done by the likes of GC technician.

It's great what you can do with a pair of pliers and a bench grinder.

"professional technician" and "local GuitarCenter" have no business in the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence. fukwit.

Well, it doesn't make sense that only that particular string needed lowering unless he's using a much heavier guage, or there's some kind of bizarre twist in the neck... A piece of cake adjustment for a quality O' tech, but apparently not for GC...

That just cannot be a good thing. The poor thing has hanging chads!!! Guitar abuse is just ugly.

I recognize that "professional lowering" job.
Looks like something I had to do to my $31 Johnson (don't say it) with a Dremel tool.
'cept mine turned-out looking alot better!

That 'cuz you did yours with a Dremel. This one looks like it was done with a fork.

Of course, it shouldn't have been done at all.

God I missed you Cliff.

I know I've been in a couple of Guitar Centers and I don't think I've seen a luthier. Then again if I was a luthier I wouldn't want to be recognized working at GC.

It looks like at least two strings were done that way and I'm not sure the strings were removed to do it. It looks like they were pushed from side to side.
