I saw that as well... that's a pretty cool idea and a pretty nice donation from Ovation considering all the models that they had to choose from to donate.

That is amazing. It also clears up the running question on the whereabouts of #47.

A completely Tax Deductable collectible!

Too bad they didn't do this before the end of the year, when I was telling my wife to get in all our charitable contributions. I think you can actually deduct only the amount over the actual value, but who cares?

I see Superiorkayaker won the one from Oklahoma Vintage.

Woodrow,

The pics ARE of the original #47, not the guitar being auctioned. They were taken directly from the Adamas website.

Hmm, good cause, bad Ebay etiquette.

I guess I need to turn in my badge now...

These photos are of the original. It's easy to tell the difference. Original has ovation logo tuners, reissue has schaller logo tuners. Dave

Yeah, I noticed that superiorkayaker won. I was bidding against him for my olympia electric papoose, he won. And then he didn't pay, and the item was put back up for auction. The guy seems to be involved in a lot of ebay auctions. I'd like to see his guitar collection.
