Not being an Adamas expert, I'm guessing that this is a 1687. I am planning on taking a run at this before the auction runs out.

Adamas 1687?

Seller has quoted 50 pounds to ship to Canada.

Anyone who owns (or owned) one, I would appreciate your thoughts on this particular model, and if I'm correct that it's a 1617.

Thanks.

Dave

Very nice. These are excellent guitars.

And yes, it's a 1687.

Thanks Waskel.

I originally had it listed as an Adamas 1617, I must have the Cat Stevens Ovation on my mind.

I figured I should access the knowledge base here, as I had made a bid on the Adamas 6591 last week, before asking about it here, only to discover it was the "Edsel" of the Adamas line.

I would want to see a picture of the headstock before I took a chance on getting this.

"headstock comment"... I was thinking the same thing. Knowing the headstock should be one of the main features of this guitar, I find it very strange they didn't show it in the pictures. I'd be a bit suspicious, and clear up any doubt before I put any cash out there in cyberspace.

I had asked the seller to send me a shot of the headstock, but he didn't before end of auction, so I passed on it. Someone from Norway picked it up.
