Well I entered the bottom feeder zone and bought a 1717 that had "some finish cracks". On the way I was called and told there is a new crack that goes through to the wood. I went over and checked it out. It sounded great but the finish cracks were a foot long and the crack in the wood was about 2" long. The guy told me he was the original owner and had never had any work done to it. I took it to a repair guy and he said it had been re-braced under the foot long cracks and part of the top had been re-glued and maybe the bridge re-glued. Anyway the guy is willing to buy it back, but thought maybe one of you fix it guys might be interested. So I am offereing it here first, $250 will give me back what I paid for it. Any bites?

Tempting, but my "dance card" is pretty full, at the moment. Having to adhere to the "one in, one out" rule. SWMBO, notwithstanding.
Send it back, if you aren't happy. Life is too short, and regret is inevitable.

I don't have any pictures. Mainly the finish cracks are from the lower bout to the sound hole on the bass side. The crack in the wood is about an inch below the fret board on the treble side. I think the wood crack could be easy enough to fix and have a good knock-around guitar but I maybe able to take that money and add it to a few more stashed bucks and get something that is in better condition. Besides my Glen Campbell with it's worped and chipped top already serves that purpose.
