Location: Back in the Valley of the Sun Mesa Az. | He emailed e back, said there are no issues whatsoever...only a little dusty. I am thinking hard on this one...he didn't mention no shipping to me, or the bidding war...I guess I'll have to email him back. |

Which reminds me, is the Northwest OFC Gaggle meeting this Spring? Something about Skagit Tulip Festivals?
Sorry, didn't intend to hijack the thread! |

I'm not a bidder. I did send a condition inquiry, an invite to the OFC and asked about trades.
If I got an answer it's on my home mail. |

| I don't know anything about Craigslist but with all this attention, this seller might relist for big bucks... |

Location: Upper Left USA | Craigslist is usually a fast action sales operation from what I've seen. If an iten is well priced it doesn't stay up for long.
You need to respond with "I'll buy it and come pick it up as long as it's not broken"! This is how I got a complete direct vent gas stove and pipe for $100.
My guess is that its sold before we get to respond. |

| The Luthier he mentions seems to have a serious custom shop going. Be interesting to see the fretboard up close and personal.. |

Location: Back in the Valley of the Sun Mesa Az. | I did not receive a reply from inquiry as to how much to ship her to Minnesota. Guess a lucky local owns her now. Too bad they got into a bidding war though...it will be interesting to find out what it went for. |

Location: GA USA | Speaking of Craigslist, have you checked out the FREE section? Sometimes some interesting stuff. A couple of weeks ago, I got a bunch of comic book storage boxes for free, took them home and reorganized my collection. In the process I filled one box with about 250 comics to get rid of. Then I "paid it forward" by giving those away free on craigslist. |

p.s. of course the rest of us have been grandfathered in under the previous conditions that we knew the epaulets were leaves and not feathers. |

| Maybe he realized it's true value and decided to list it on ebay. Probably not, but there are a few of us who would pay big bucks for a nice 1537.. ;) |
