| I am on the strict 1in1out diet according to swmbo.
so...
1981 1657-4 anniversary vgc cosmetically and structurally. stereo preamp is intermittent but I believe it is the pot as it works if you jiggle it a little, and have a new pot/knobs from mother which will come along with the guitar..
the guitar is not stock, as I have replaced the strap/tuner buttons with amber. and the vol/tone with black/gold. old oem vol/tone knobs will be included as well.
the guitar has had a neck reset at some point, and the binding on the neck has some minor checking.
no finish cracks or dings of any consequence, and the headstock is clean, includes black molded ohsc.
$650 shipped and insured conus... or make me a decent offer.
This is a deep-bowl legend that plays and sounds really nice..
additional or specific pictures on request.
Thanks,
Glenn |

| wow... sorry guys, that has to be the worst picture I have ever taken of a guitar. It really is a beautiful and classy looking legend.

| while photographing the guitar I found a new ding and it is on the neck... as it didn't happen while I was playing it and Shannon doesn't have a clue how it happened...
I guess at this point I must attribute it being there to my rarely-if-never seen members of the household who show up every now and then..... Idunno and Notmee...
it's behind the 3rd fret. looks like it hit a corner edge of something.
easy fill with cya... but that's beside the point.
Price now $550 shipped conus.

Location: North Texas | Nice guitar! I've got a similar Anniversary model with the orange-ish color, gold tuners, and fancy trimmings. The guitar resonates big time and has great sustain. The tones just kinda roll around inside that deep bowl until they slowly fade away. It's a quality instrument. Good luck on the sale. Cheers, Buck |

Location: Boise, Idaho | As long as you didn't use up the following excuse with your wife, when you bought it: "this is such a good deal that I'll be able to sell it for lots more than what I pay for it", you did fine.
Apparently, I've used that excuse too many times. SWMBO has also figured out that I never sell stuff, so the "good investment" excuse doesn't apply to me. |

| no, nothing like that... but I did point out the others that Del and some others had listed at the time with BINs more than twice what I paid for it..
She's ok with my gas attacks, I have 6 hangers in the house, and an 8 guitar maximum load allowed.
it was an excellent buy for $500... for both of us.

Location: Boise, Idaho | When I only had 6 guitars SWMBO didn't say much either. But, that was like a year ago and I can't remember what the rules were then. It's always something like, "That should be enough for awhile." It's been about 5 months, so I think awhile has past. |
