Lost at the last three Ovation 12 string offerings on Ebay. Not being cheap....seems the winner wanted them real bad by placing an early high bid. I dislike Ebay but am in heat for a 12 string.....bad.

I am looking for $500-600 used USA Ovation Balladeer/ Legend/ Elite 12 string in very good condition. Anybody have one needing a good home?

If I am dreaming on the above price please let me know as I'm about to TILT with the Ebay action.

First post for me here. Have a C778LX that I like very much. Any help on the 12 string would be appreciated. If my above pricing is too low ball, please inform me. I'll just belly up and buy a new one for a grand.

A 1758 went for $574 on ebay last week.

In my opinion that was a low price.

Keep looking on ebay another 12 string will come up. You may have to shell out a bit more than the figure you mentioned.

Go with Al, eliminate the risk. You get backing from a well known Ovation dealer.

Al is reputable, too, but you have to hang around this site to discover all the things that have earned him his reputation. :D

In all seriousness, Al has done business with many of us on this board and I very highly recommend him.

I'm on my third order from Al, two of which are Customs.

I'm still not sure about him. Maybe one more Custom just to make sure...

Thanks for all the input. Should have posted a couple weeks ago and saved myself the Ebay aggrevation. I bought an Elite 12 string last evening from a reply. I will keep Al in mind for the next one. This is kind of addicting, isn't it?
