One of my little pet peeves is when people re-string O's, and can't line up the round ball ends of the strings with the slots in the bridge. Come ON, people!!!

Uncle Woody's tip #46 for the Obsessive Compulsive OFCer's:
When changing strings on a 12 lay down a piece of paper on the top face below the bridge then insert all of the new strings (string tubes optional). Then using the old "D" or "G" string cut to about 12.5" insert the string to align the ball ends. Remove upon tensioning.

D'Add experimented with just going to Brass/Silver/Black ball-ends, but scrapped the idea when survey results showed that their client-base were morons that were easily confused (tho, not exactly in THOSE words . . .)
