I made a nice little trade for this Legend, thanks Fuzzyman.

Now the kid and I both have Legends. This one's nice, but I must say, I lust for his bursty one with the foil.

very sweet, damon. do you like the dm gold alchemy strings? i tried them on an adamas 1581-7 i used to own and did not care for them at all. i still have that set and should try them on another guitar. they stayed on the adamas only two days.

I'm going to be really disappointed if I see all these guitars and they don't look as good as your pictures.

I have the DM Alchemys on every acoustic guitar but the Adamas. They've been doing an OK job for me. I like uncoated better, but they don't last as long. I didn't think the gold would look good on the Adamas, so it has Elixirs. I want to try some Cleartones though.

I use Blue Steel DMs on the electrics.

Boy, I gave some thought to Fuzzy's Legend as well. Deep full bowl, K-bar, in almost perfect condition. Bet it sounds deep and full.....

To my eye, the side-holers are nice but Legends are the prettiest guitars Ovation makes. These two strengthen that opinon.

The 08C was subject to 1-in-1-out. I'm leaning toward letting go of my 1619 Custom Legend. It has a couple of minor cosmetic issues. PM me if you're interested and I'll take some pics to send you.

EDIT: Didn't mean to hijack your thread, Damon. Carry on, gents.

In case you all were wondering, there were no stems and seeds when I opened up the guitar....

Much to my disappointment.
