Location: Upper Left USA | Headed to the Ebay is my latest purchase. Had to see it and researched the back-alley near cult historians that relish the Made in Japan copies and such that went under names like Teisco, Kay, Winston, Decca, Harmony and onward.
Many a first guitar were similar to this one:
I believe it is a Teisco Del Ray EP probably 7-9.
Interesting though. If it was the one you had as a Yoot and want it back shoot me a PM. I don't expect to get more than $145 for it. |

Location: Upper Left USA | Al's right. The neck is a little confused, nice Maple figure in parts. There are a lot of body parts for these jumping around on Ebay.
Jason, that would be some expensive jerky... |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Neck looks like it came off a Univox Ripper, which was a solidbody. I don't know too much about the Teiscos, which, like Univox, made a bunch of the "lawsuit" guitars in the 70s. I still miss my HR2, which was a Univox ES335 copy. |

Murphy's rules of Ebay: If you pack it early they will ask for more pictures and if you don't pack it they will want it sooner than you are ready! |
