5000zl = around 1600$ |

Location: Boise, Idaho | That might be just a little high here, if it was in good condition, but from what you've said about the cost of Ovations in Poland, that might be a good deal for you. Mine was half that, but it has a significant finish crack and a high spot on the fretboard. |

"Truly unique. Very exclusive series of Ovation Guitars. Only 1000 in whole world. This instrument has number 564. Very good condition. Original case included. Sounds good, and it's very comfortable to play. etc...

Location: Tychy, Poland | it's up to my father. he fell in love with sound of my old legend, and he wants one for himself. I don't think he'll be able to afford 5k zl for that '87, but maybe with some trade talks...
we'll see.
that one for 2,900 with 3.500 "buy now" is interesting, but that crack on the top doesn't look good.

Location: closely held secret | Hopefully it doesn't go through the finish. None of these guitars are in perfect condition.
That Legend won't sound like your father's old one, unless he plays plugged in. It's a super-shallow bowl. It's going to sound much thinner (pun intended) than an older deep bowl.
The 1985 Collectors' is also an S/S bowl. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | The crack in the one Noah pictured is much worse than the one in mine. If you are really interested, I could dig out some old emails to a guy who posted an 87 on this board with some issues on the fretboard. We never really resolved what to do with it before I found another one. |

Location: Tychy, Poland | 1. I own a Legend. My father plays on Samick D6CE :D
2. Stephen - i would love to buy a guitar in US. I would even prefer to buy a Legend or Custom Legend. But:
1) i can't bid on e-bay because they're restricting sales to North America
2) shipping to poland probably would be very costly
But since paypal started to work in poland, i think i'd have to look overseas for guitars etc. |

Location: closely held secret | Sorry Shovel, I misunderstood. But my point was that the custom legend listed there will not sound like your old legend... unless you have a shallow-bowl too. |
