It's older and in much better condition, and it even has a pickup.

this one should be a record for a 70's balladeer.

signed by HWJ Balladeer

and yes I know it's for benefit of the school... if I could get 1500+ for mine, I'd be helping someone else out as well

Isn't that funny that in the picture of him playing it, he's playing a Gibson!

Why would I pay MORE money for an old guitar with scribbling on it. (I believe I got my butt wupped for doing that when I was young.)

Two Visions--
1) Some greedy celebrity scribbling on a bunch of guitars, t-shirts, anything small enough to sell.

2) Some dude taking a $60 guitar to a signing, sucking-up to the artist, then putting the thing on e-Baaa as soon as he gets home.

Ah... Capitalism. I love the smell of Taste, disintegrating in the morning.

If you follow the links to the other auctions you can buy a "Gibson" (sorry, dude its an Epiphone) for under $600 with both Hank Jr.'s and Trace Adkins autographs! What a deal...(still not a Gibson though.... If the charity is a good one and both of these seem to be for good causes, I say why not? If you can aford it, go for it...and help someone else in the process...but please, it it's an $80 Epiphone - not a Gibson. :-)
