Looks like I'm joining the flea market.

I'm offering up the Book Elite that I recently received in a trade with Woz. Here is Woz's original thread with pics and description:

Book Elite

From the recent rash of sales, I am acquiring a Country Artist and a GC 12 String, so I need to make room, raise cash, keep SWMBO happy, etc. etc. As for 6 strings, I'm happy with the Millenium and this one just won't get the play that it deserves.

I'm asking $950 - shipping included to the lower 48. I agree with the comments in the thread about this one needing pearl tuners. I did try to locate pearl buttons to no avail.

Please PM or email me if interested.

Holy mackrel. What's going on with all the guitars up for sale? The only logical answer is that with the democrats in charge of congress we're all anticipating some rough economic times ahead.

mike (crimson lake) is currently at the GC checking out that 1581 for me. there are so many guitar acquisition possibilities right now that my head is swimmin'.

"...or Republicans anty-ing up for bail..." now that's a tragically funny one right there :D

Fred, just keep your eyes open for an '87 collector. Except for the preamp they appear to be very similar.

Fred, I agree keep your eyes open for that 87 collector. You don't want no beat up one. You want one that's been completely refinished by the factory into it's original glory. I'll let you know if I see anything that fits the bill ...

Wait.. I'm so confused. Is that customized Breadwinner Ltd up for sale or what? If so, I'm interested! Thanks! Michael Joseph Krsmer

Hmmm. I only know of one of those... and I can't see the owner selling it, considering how he got it.

Well, Considering how I got my C2078LX-RTD, I can't see my self selling it either. If someone "needed it", they could have it in a second. But it's not for sale... It'll be something special-er that makes me part with it.

MJK - sorry for the confusion - the pics of the BW were just part of the thread.

Jason - thanks for the offer. I did try to put Schaller pearl buttons on the grover tuners but the shafts are different.

I will probably be taking my 87C-5 to the party on the 17th...with the exception of a couple of "mustache wiskers" near the bridge, it is as mint as it gets for a 20 year old. I just love it; everyone was right!
Blessings!

Done! Traded to Stuart Miller for his 1118 GC 12 String and a couple of draft picks. Just waiting on the 1624 to arrive and the family is complete (for now). I think I'm done for awhile...

This is my second deal made out of the back of the car in a parking lot. I got to meet Stuart, which was a pleasure. The only downside to the day was that before I met Stuart, my van got sideswiped while dropping my daughter off at her crew match in Philly. The other guy got the worst of it though... his car is dented all the way up one side and he lost his rearview mirror - I basically have some cosmetic damage.

I'll post pics when the 1624 arrives.
