Location: Carle Place, NY | Paul Templeman is a great guy and very deserving of his OFC MOTY, 2nd fret, honor. However it is time to award the 3rd fret.
I hereby respectfully nominate Brad Durasa/slipkid.
I think the reasons Brad is deserving are apparent. His work on the calendar really stands out (Steve/'Zilla deserves equal credit on that). Also his "Wind" song at the Amelia/Matt clinic was awesome. Brad showed some real guts at the Frisky Mirmaid. Brad is always polite, informative and a real asset to this board.
Of course, the nominations are now open for other candidates. |

Remember the Slipkid Manifesto
with accompanying Theme song:
The Slipkid Manifesto
To the tune of “Won’t Back Down”
V1
Well I been hang’in round Listen’in to you clowns
You’re talk’in bout Llamas and your scaring all the Mamas
Just to lift your post count
Just to lift that post count
V2
The board’s a Real Neat Place We like to meet Face-toFace
But when you talk about your bowels Then I’m throw’in in the Towel
And I won’t back down
I’m going to stand my ground
(light lead riff takes the Verse Line)
V3
I know I’ve had my thrills The Fishsticks were overkill
And though my pictures plastered all over this town
I won’t back down
I wanna stand my ground
Chorus
He-e-e-e-e-y Baby, did you read that post first
Ya-a-a-a-a-h maybe you better change some words
And I won’t back down
I wanna stand my ground
I wanna stick around
Ya, I won’t back down
V4
When someone says “Amen” You ought to call them friend
And if you want to fight about it Don’t stay in here and shout about it
Drop them a P M
Don’t make me say it again
And I won’t back down
I wanna stand my ground
Chorus
No he won’t back down…
No he won’t back down… fade |

Wasn't Brad seen playing a TAYLOR!
I think that might disqualify him ;) |

So I'm cool with it. |

| Nothing funnier than a couple a older guys who are not exactly small, riding 50cc's of Hell Raising Scooter power! You guys look like some real bad asses man. I can picture all the neighborhood kids being terrorized by two guys riding down the sidewalks and forcing the kids off their bikes while whooping it up, and drinking can's of diet coke and tossing them into the unsuspecting owners of convertibles. Of course wearing Lost Art Tee's and a little O ukulele over the shoulder.
Bill I am surprised you did not get angry letters.

Location: Phoenix AZ | You posters are wasting your time campaigning for Brad to be MOTY. Not that he's unworthy, But it's not a public vote. There is some sort of secret vatican minister type vote and when the blue smoke comes out of an admins ass somebody is crowned MOTY. All very mysterious. MOTY1 Phil the asian camera guy was an obvious choice. MOTY2 Paul T was a bit more questionable and personally I think might have meen an inside job, similar to Benedict Mengele.

Good point about it being a secret vote. I kind of like it that way.
Or should it be the one clubber who made the biggest impact in the last year? In one year, Beggin has almost single handedly made the southeast a hotbed of Ovation Fan fun. We had four weekend jams because he and Lanaki had lunch one day.
For my vote, I'm just glad I don't have a vote. |

what about Trader Jim who single handedly spurred the economy in the SE region by buying, trading, claiming this one was a keeper (before promptly selling/trading) well over 100 guitars in the last 6 months! |

And who's going to Scotland to get the trophy back if temp decides he won't give it up?
And I nominate andrea for racking up the biggest topic.
