I'm sure there are plenty of folks here that can setup an Ovation in their sleep but for the rest of us...let me say, this video makes it a snap. I was able to follow the whole procedure and I feel confident I can now do it too.
Don't know if Kip is a member here or not, but I think he's done an excellent job. Check it out at www.greatnutshells.com

Location: SoCal | Tim, Fred (my guitar tech) gave it an 8. I assume that's an 8 out of 10. We were just lucky enough to get it for a penny. I received the confirmation email, but have yet to downloaded it. I'll go get it and tell you what I think. |

Like I said, Not bad. Content was there. It wasn't quite step by step, but I don't think it should be. Kip even said something funny. We've all answered most of the "how do I lower the action on my new XXXX" questions a hundred times before. *I* would be looking for "More", But Tim (and many others I'm sure) now knows how to do a basic setup on a Celebrity. Well done Kip. Well Done. |

Location: Up North | What about the OFC producing an "Ovation how-to series" including the seminars from the upcoming factory tour? As well as answers to many other often-asked questions.
I'd be willing to help out, but I'm definitely no expert in guitars. Design/production yes. |
