Well, no sooner than the Tak found it's way to Lanaki (as it should have), that I miss playing a guitar.

I can't afford very much (the ONLY reason I sold the Tak was for money), but I can come up with about $500-$600.

Does anyone have a guitar in that price range? To be more specific, I'm looking for someone that (like me) needs to get rid of a guitar AT A FABULOUS price.

I've been looking at some of the Ovation models, but I don't think I can afford any of the ones that I like (USA models) unless I buy used from someone that wants to sell quickly to fund another purchase or must sell due to tax man, or some other financial need.

I saw a 6778 for sale, but it was traded. Granted even that was a little out of my price range, but I inquired.

I saw Alaska Fly Guy's guitar, but I can't swing that much money. What a beautiful guitar though.

I'm going to have to be patient because I can only afford what I can afford. I hope that makes sense. So, please, please, please don't entice me with a fabulous guitar that costs $1000. I'm already depressed about HAVING to sell the Tak.

Here's what I like: balance across the tonal spectrum, sounds good plugged in and not plugged in, I don't want to pay for a lot of bling because I'm not looking at the guitar while I'm playing it and right now I can't afford anything that $$$$ went into the looks. I'm more about playability and sound than looks.

So, can anyone help a brother? My email address is just_strummin@yahoo.com. I hate bargaining over $50, so please submit what your willing to take with a picture and a description. Please include shipping and insurance in your offer. I'm in Chicago, so shipping and insurance from the contiguous 48 states shouldn't be more than $30.

Regards,
Mark
