Hi, Everyone -

I'm over in the UK and in the process of trying to restore a Deacon - It's one which was in pretty bad shape, I've managed to get everything sorted (neck, electrics, etc) but after many hours work on the body, it has just given up on me - It's had too much chopped away by a previous owner rendering the wood really too weak to do much with! (Just can't imagine what they were trying to do!)
In short, I just wondered if anyone out there might have a Deacon body for sale?

Best Wishes to everyone from here in Yorkshire, England ! Clyde

I bet the Woodman could make you one.

Michael....isn't this right up your alley?

I don't have any spare Deacon/BW bodies but I would be interested in obtaining the defunct body you have. I would either use it as a template or graft a new plate of wood over the top and bottom, then route to desired style.

Captain, if you'd PM or email me if you're interested let me see what we can scavenge!

Thanks very much for your help, (nothing wrong with your mind from where I'm sitting!) I'll get in touch with Michael, explain exactly what state the body's in & see what he thinks!

Thanks Again, Clyde
