Tup put together a webpage dedicated to his Martins. Now, I would never look at it myself, but some of you wankers might enjoy it. A link is in his signature, but for those of you who actually like those guitars, here's the link

www.mymartingallery.com

It's a good site and fun to wonder around....

..Wonder..or Wander.. No one on an Ovation board should have that many Martins. I volunteer to take a few, but include new strings, and pay the shipping. :D

I played most of Dave's Martins last October while in Phoenix. Great guitars, no question about it. But I kept coming back to his #47 as the one that sounded best to my ears....

Ice cream.

Ice Cream......absolutely true.

The TOP FOUR sounding guitars I own are interesting enough from 4 different manufacturers.

Adamas #47
Martin HD28VS
Taylor Doyle Dykes Signature
Takamine EF75

Each one has it's own character and flavor that makes it unique and wonderful to play and listen to.

Is one better than the other.....it really depends on the song, situation, and style. They are all fabulous and I am very lucky to own them.

Moody's got sharp eyes. My signature line had ovationgallery.com in it for years. I just thought I'd change it yesterday and see who would notice (and give me shit). No surprise it was Moody.

takaminegallery.com is also up there. ukulelegallery.com and cw28gallery.com are in the works. And yes Cliff, dildogallery.com is also registered to me.

There's lots of great instruments out there. And it's nice to be able to enjoy all the different flavors. No one guitar is perfect in my opinion for all applications. Nice to have choices.

Dave

Why Moody has posted this in the For Sale section I have no idea. Maybe he is hinting that I should sell these Martins to buy more roundbacks. Ain't gonna happen.

Beautiful Dave...I had seen these in a link from the registration page several weeks ago but actually did not take a good look until now...very nice...I played Martins for many years...they have their own unique voice...as do most guitars. Fantastic stuff my friend!
Blessings...

Once again, Dave, you've done a very nice job. Great way to share guitars with those who perhaps may never get to actually see, hold and play great guitars like these.

I played a HD 28 VS today and must say I was very impressed. Beautiful guitar all around. It was the nicest in that store, except for my Tak! :)

I never even noticed what section it was going in. All these threads lead to the main board anyway....
