Location: CA | FWIW, my 1970 1111-4 did this exact same thing at the exact same spot (thanks Mexicana). Epoxy and a few small screws to hold the repair until the glue dried and it has been good to go ever since. That was probably 15 years ago. Not saying it looks all that great, but functionally, it's 100%. |
